Protein Science — Electronic Supplementary Material

William C. Wimley
Toward genomic identification of beta-barrel membrane proteins: Composition and architecture of known structures
Protein Science, February 2002, Volume 11, Number 2, pp. 301-312

Supplemental Research Data

Electronic supplementary material consists of tabulated amino acid abundance data (Table_2.txt), and tables of sorted beta-barrel scores for the complete genomes of the two Gram negative bacteria discussed in the text. After the file header, the genomic data are given in 5 columns: [1] beta-barrel score, [2] protein length, [3] number of peaks in beta-hairpin score greater than 4.0 (Figure 10), [4] description of the protein in the genome annotation, and [5] the protein's code. File name conventions are as follows: Ecoli.doc, Eschericia coli; Paeruginosa.doc, Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

Table_2.txt: HTML file (4 KB; plain ascii text embedded in <pre> tags)

Ecoli.doc: MS Word document file (702 KB; 114 pages) MS Word file

Paeruginosa.doc: MS Word document file (680 KB; 108 pages) MS Word file
